For all the Māori entries and the generic entries, they all have translations. The translations have been done by Rangi McGarvey and Tamahou McGarvey of Tūhoe, and been run through Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori as well, and basically there is a….Jock has just clicked on it up there, so if you click on that Māori entry, you can see that the translations are there, and that’s both through the entry, and through the captions on the resources throughout the various entries.

So there’s a little plug up here at the top: one says English, one says Māori. At the moment we’ve got the Māori text of the entry all about Muriwhenua, and if we click that [English radio button] we get back to the English instantly.

And I guess also for reo teachers, its actually a very good thing for your reo students to be able to go through and be able to have a look at both the English and the Māori text side by side, and just to compare in terms of the reo. Because Tamahou and Rangi McGarvey are excellent translators and you know I really enjoy reading their translations through the entry.
