Te Ara: Voyages
On 24 August 2005 Jock Phillips, general editor of Te Ara the new online Encyclopaedia of New Zealand, and Basil Keane, Māori editor of Te Ara participated in a videoconference with three schools from around New Zealand. Together they made a journey of discovery using the information on the Te Ara website about Māori and non Māori voyages through the Pacific.
