Earlier you said that you write for like what you think is wrong and not necessarily touched on. Do you find that plays and theatre is a strong enough canvas for your ideas?

Oh completely. The other reason I write for theatre is it can happen. That’s the thing. You know that the other mediums, (and I have found this from experience, like writing for television), you put an idea out and four other people will change it. Film’s kind of even worse. Well not worse, it just has to go through so many other hands. But theatre is so immediate. You know like, if none of the theatres want to touch it I’ll do it myself, because I feel that strongly about something. And again, what you tend to find is, you put something out there and people will respond to it. So yeah if that answers your question that’s pretty much the reason why I do it and why I love the medium so much.
