What would you say Vita, because you’ve just done this most recently.

I don’t know, I guess just do it. Some of what you write is going to be fantastic, and some of what you write is going to be, you know belong in the bin, and you really just have to do it and do it until you do something fantastic. It’s like something like swimming or golf that you just actually just have to do, people can tell you how to do it, but you’re never going to know how it works until you do it yourself, and lots and lots of times.

Someone once asked me, this was a nine year old, how do you know when an idea is a good one? And I had to say that I didn’t know, that it really depended on the energy of the story, and if you’ve got an idea that has got a lot of energy and you really feel a lot about, you feel passionate about it, and it won’t leave you, then the chances are that that will be a really good story when you get it down. Be courageous, be bold.
