What episode of Frontier of Dreams took the longest to create and why?
David Filer

The episode covering Abel Tasman and Captain Cook, right through to the 1830s, was a complicated episode because it covered a long period in New Zealand history, with lots of really exciting characters, and required creating drama – we had to do dramatisation, and we had to go and film overseas in England and Holland. We also had to add in quite a lot of new ways of doing material because it was so long ago. So Episode 3 is probably one of the most difficult.
