As a researcher, the thing I found most interesting is finding all of this film of New Zealand from about 1900 to about 1940, which is stored in the New Zealand Film Archive; and is the most amazing resource of what people looked like and how they lived, and had fun and worked – in your grandfathers’ and great grandfathers’ age. Many of them are as young as you are now and there they all are, preserved forever. Forever people will be able to see what they were like.
