Over the next two to three years we’ll, we have funding to put an implant together to help people with paraplegia. That’s our short-term goal. It is a brain implant, a bidirectional brain implant we’re looking at and partly whilst we’re using that to try and help a few people we’re using it as a learning exercise as well. My next implant is, is about 10 years down the line. This telegraphic thought communication I’ve been referring to. For me it is so exciting, the possibility that we can actually do this, actually do it. No way do I want to miss out on that. I talked much earlier about Alexander Graham Bell running wires round and talking to Watson, to have actually been there as a scientist. I mean that if anybody can’t, if anybody said no I wouldn’t have liked to have been there they can not be a scientist. I can not believe, a serious scientist. The possibility of actually being part of a first thought communication experiment to me is so exciting. It’s unbelievable. No way am I going to die without having been part of that. So that’s my 10 year job. Maybe it will happen before. I hope so.
