The main things we are looking for, are information about Antarctica’s past in the hope that it might, and notice I say “might”, tell us something about the future. More about plate tectonics. Plate tectonics is something that you do in social studies, geography, most of you will know about that. Probably your parents did not, its just a very modern science but that came out of Antarctica, so more information about that. And especially the story of climate change.
