Find out about:

  • How animals fly?
  • How wings work?
  • What has wings?
  • How many wings do they have?
  • What were the first creatures to have wings?
  • Can humans fly?
  • Why do animals loose the ability to fly?
  • What wings resources does Te Papa have?

Resources that your class will need so that they can complete some of the simple scientific experiments during the VC are:

  • 2x Balloons
  • 1x 1 meter ruler
  • 2x 50 cm string
  • A4 Paper
