On Wednesday 15 June 2005 between 1:30 and 2:30pm, join our videoconference with
Linda Vagana
Former Silver Fern and Northland Force team member Linda Vagana has played at the top level of New Zealand sport for seventeen years. She has also played in the netball world championship for her parents' homeland, Samoa.
Linda has balanced sporting success with study and career and has worked at the Auckland University of Technology as the marketing co-ordinator for the Faculty of Arts. She is currently the General Manager of Books in Homes, a charitable organisation that aims to put books into the homes of every New Zealand child who, through no fault of their own, normally wouldn't own any.
Join Linda to talk about the demands and rewards and challenges of representing New Zealand in netball at home and overseas. We'll chat about the highlights of her sporting career, balancing sport and study as well as her involvement in community initiatives.
