Hamish Campbell is a geologist who works at Te Papa and helped to develop the Awesome Forces exhibition. Join us in this discussion to learn more about tsunami.

Tsunami are caused by rapid displacement of sea water. Hamish will discuss the major displacement mechanism including:
- faulting (dislocation or offset) of the sea floor
- collapse processes (landslides, submarine slides, volcano sector collapse)
- volcanism (eruption)
- meteorite impact
