Making Christmas decorations with Santa

Te Papa invites you to join an exclusive chat with Santa, in his workshop. He has his elf ready to help him, you, and your students make some really cool Christmas decorations from flax. It will be easy for your students to follow the step by step instructions!

You will make a flax flower and a flax star!

Talk with Santa about:

• Christmas
• What it is like to live at the North Pole
• What he's doing to get ready
• And make some decorations

You will need:

• Three pieces of flax (or paper) at least 30cm in length and two 2cm wide and one 4cm wide
• Scissors
