National Radio's Home Grown is a two-hour programme of New Zealand music, new releases and music information, hosted and produced by Liz Barry on Saturdays at 3pm.

Music, especially New Zealand music, has always been Liz's passion. She has seen how many Kiwi bands and artists have worked for success in recent years and has heaps to say about how to get airplay for your songs.

Liz says radio is the greatest job in the world! She has worked in radio since leaving school and has done it all... from copywriting, composing and singing advertising jingles to on air presenting. She also works weekdays in RNZ's Communications Unit, producing and compiling National Radio's programme and promo schedules.
