Join us to begin of a series of debates via video conference between students from USA, Canada, Alaska, and New Zealand. The debates will run for all of 2005.
This initiative has been organized by a group of U.S. and Canadian High Schools who have established a pilot program called, ITDS - International Televised Debate Society. Their plan is to host a series of debates in 2005 between students from USA, Canada, Alaska, and New Zealand.
The series of debates is aimed at secondary school students.
This first VC is a trial run for students and teachers to meet each other, decide on the rules of the debates, and topics for debate. This is an informational get together to discuss and talk about the actual debates planned for Feb-May.
