Digital Conversations is bought to you by CWA New Media working with education providers to blend the traditional with the new to support opportunities for engagement, collaboration and communication.
The aim of Digital Conversations is to maximise the opportunities for students and their teachers by supporting learning outcomes in an engaging, accessible and ever changing way — technology and pedagogy meeting for a learning purpose.
Videoconferencing brings the world into classrooms and learning environments so issues of distance and access are no longer barriers to learning opportunities.
Did you know you can request a digital conversation? Some possible digital conversations could be:
- a subject specialist
- a celebrity or role model offering insights into their career path and their work — for example, drawn from the world of the arts, science, technology, industry or business
- a visiting conference speaker
- students from schools across New Zealand to debate an idea, collaborate on work or showcase an event.
